What we collect

We collect two kinds of information.

Information you give us

When you contact us through the enquiry form or by email, we receive your name, email address, any company name or phone number you choose to give, and whatever you write in your message.

Information collected automatically

This site runs on Shopify. Shopify sets cookies and collects technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site. Non-essential cookies are only set where you have consented via the cookie banner. See our cookie policy for detail.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with providers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

• Shopify — hosts this website and provides its analytics.
• Our email and business software providers — so we can receive and reply to your enquiry.
• Professional advisers and authorities — where we are required to share information by law.

International transfers

We operate from offices in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and China. Where personal data is accessed by our team in China, or by a provider outside the UK or European Economic Area, that involves a transfer outside those areas.

Where we make such a transfer we rely on an appropriate safeguard, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for details of the safeguard that applies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Client records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and then for as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes. After that we delete or anonymise the data.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• ask us to delete data where there is no good reason for us to keep it;
• ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to us using it;
• ask us to transfer your data to you or another provider;
• withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.

How to complain

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority:
